2 teaspoons Seasoning - Cinnamon, crumb topping
1 -2 teaspoons Seasoning - Cinnamon, to taste
to taste Lemon Juice
1 1/2 cup (crumb topping) Flour - All Purpose

Crumb Topping:

2. Add 3/4 cup melted butter and stir until combined - do not overmix. Set aside.

4. Toss sliced apples (2 1/2 pounds), sugar (1 cup), flour (3 tablepoons), cinnamon (1-2 tablespoons or to taste), and lemon juice (1 tablespoon, freshly squeezed preferred).

5. Place mixture in unbaked pie shell.

6. Place aluminum foil around edges of the pie before baking to ensure that the edges do not burn.

7. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, then lower heat to 350 degrees and bake for 45 to 60 minutes or until apples feel soft when pricked with a fork.
