Baked Custard
4 of 5 Stars (1 review)
Servings: 6
Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 45-55 min
Ingredients
1/8 teaspoon Seasoning - Salt
3 Eggs, beaten
Milk
1/4 c Sugar - White
1 t Vanilla Extract

Cooking Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, mix together eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla until well blended. Add milk and mix with a wire whisk until smooth. Pour into six 6-oz. custard cups.

Place cups in 13x9" pan and place in oven.

Fill pan around the cups with about 1" of water, being careful to not splash any water into the custard cups. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Serve warm or cold. Store leftovers in refrigerator.

I need another pair of eyes on this recipe. Does anybody see the amount of milk that should be used in the recipe? Please email me at kdlukkes@msn.com. Thank you! I've been looking for a recipe for just plain old custard for some time, as my father makes it occasionally but doesn't measure anything and can't tell me what his secret is.
