Chocolate Pecan Pie

Ingredients
1/2 cup Corn Syrup
pinch Seasoning - Salt
4 Eggs
1/2 Cup Sugar - White
1/2 Cup Sugar - Brown
1 1/2 Cups Pecans
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 (9 inch) Pie Crust (unbaked)
1 Cup Chocolate Chips

Cooking Directions


1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

2. Spread the pecan pieces and the chocolate chips evenly on the bottom of the pie shell.

3. In a mixing bowl, whisk the remaining ingredients together, including the eggs, sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla and salt.

4. Pour the filling over the pecans and chocolate chips.

5. Bake until the filling sets, 50 to 60 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool for 30 minutes before slicing.

6. This pie can be made 1-2 days in advanced, cover and store in a cool, dry place.
