1/4 cup Butter
1 teaspoon Seasoning - Salt
1/8 teaspoon Seasoning - Black Pepper
2-3 lbs Beef - Chuck Roast, boneless
1 clove Garlic
1 Onions, sliced
1/2 Cup Flour - All Purpose
1/4 Cup Flour - All Purpose
2 Cups Beer


1. Coat beef cubes with the 1/2 cup flour.

2. Brown in melted butter.

3. Drain off excess fat.

4. In crock pot, combine browned meat with onion, salt, pepper, garlic and beer.

5. Cover and cook on low 5-7 hours (all day) until meat is tender.

6. Turn control to high.

7. Dissolve remaining 1/4 cup flour in small amount of water.

8. Stir into meat mixture, cook on high 30-40 minutes.

9. Serve with rice and salad.

Extremely easy to make and the meat was unbelievable tender. I just wish that a small list of acceptable beers was added to it.
