Easy to follow cooking directions and moist turkey burger patties will guarantee this will be a family favorite for years to come.

Crock Pot Lasagna

Ingredients
16 oz Cheese - Mozzarella, shredded
1 1/2 teaspoons Seasoning - Salt
1 lb Beef - Ground
1 (6 oz) can Tomato Paste
2 teaspoons Garlic, minced
1 Onions, chopped
1 (29 ounce) Tomato Sauce - Canned
1 Teaspoon Seasoning - Oregano
1/2 Cup Cheese - Parmesan (Grated)
12 ounces Cottage Cheese
1 (12 ounce) Pasta - Lasagna

Cooking Directions


1. In a large skillet over medium heat cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic untill brown. Add the tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, and oregano and stir until well incorported. Cook untill heated through.

2. In a large bowl mix together the cottage cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and shredded mozzarella cheese.

3. Spoon a layer of the meat mixture onto the bottom of the slow cooker. Add a double layer of the uncooked lasagna noodles. Break to fit noodles into slow cooker. Top noodles with a portion of the cheese mixture. Repeat the layering of sauce, noodles, and cheese until all the ingredients are used.

4. Cover and cook on low heat in slow cooker for 6 to 8 hours.

sounds like a great recipe I will try this..I never would have thought to use the crockpot-great idea!I will use ricotta cheese instead of cottage cheese.

It got a little overcooked, which may just be my crockpot being too hot.
