It’s that time of year, BBQ Season! Try these delicious and easy to make turkey burgers on your grill. Most of the ingredients you already have, so you can make them tonight. Easy to follow cooking directions and moist turkey burger patties will guarantee this will be a family favorite for years to come.

Crock Pot Moussaka

Cook Time: 6-8 hours
Ingredients
1 can Tomatoes - Canned, diced
1 large Eggplant, sliced 1/4 inch thick
1/4 teaspoon Seasoning - Salt
1 teaspoon Seasoning - Black Pepper
4 ounces Cheese - Feta, crumbled
1 pound Turkey - Ground, (or lamb or beef)
1/4 teaspoon Seasoning - Cinnamon
1 Bell Pepper - Green, sliced
1 Onions - Yellow, sliced
3 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
5 cloves Garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon Seasoning - Oregano

Cooking Directions


1. Place peeled and sliced eggplant on the bottom of the crock pot.
2. Brown the ground meat in a large skillet until there is no pink remaining.
3. Add the remaining ingredients- except the feta cheese- to the skillet and combine thoroughly, mixing the tomato paste completely.
4. Add meat mixture to the crock pot on top of the eggplant.
5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
6. Sprinkle some of the feta cheese on each serving.
