Filipino Garlic Fried Rice

Ingredients

1 Tablespoon Butter
To Taste Seasoning - Salt
3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
3 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
3 Cups Rice - White, Cooked (Day Old)

Instructions

Heat 3 tbsp. cooking oil in a wok or large pan on medium-high heat.

Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.

Add the rice and toss frequently for 1 minute.

Sprinkle with about 1 tsp. salt.

Cook rice on low for about 5 to 10 minutes, and toss rice occasionally.

At the end, throw in the butter and coat the rice. Cook until some of the rice is crispy and crunchy.

A little odd with it being so crunchy, but it was still quite yummy; everyone loved it.

I think my wok is smaller than a normal wok and I had a hard time mixing the rice up well. I added more garlic but still did not get a good garlic tast like I was wanting. The rice was good but I would have enjoyed it better if it had a stronger garlic flavor.

Delicious recipe. My husband made a point to tell me how much he like it. I used brown rice that I baked the night before for an hour. I stir fried the cold rice the nExt day with the garlic in a wok with stir fry oil.. It tasted like real frid rice.
