Servings: 12
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 12 minutes
Ingredients
1/4 cup Water, boiling
1 cup Flour - All Purpose
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
2 teaspoons Shortening
1/4 teaspoon Seasoning - Sea Salt

Cooking Directions

Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening until a coarse meal texture is achieved. Add water slowly, mixing with hands to make a soft dough. Knead a few minutes until dough is smooth and elastic. Oil the top and let it rise in a bowl, covered with a clean dish towel for 10 minutes. Divide dough to 12 golf ball sized portions. Roll out balls to size and thickness desired. Let stand for 10 minutes. Cook over medium heat in a dry skillet until the top is bubbly, then turn and cook for a minute, being careful not to overcook. Keep stacked and warm inside a clean dish towel.
