Lime Garlic Chicken

Ingredients

1 Cup Flour - All Purpose
1 teaspoon Seasoning - Salt
1/2 teaspoon Seasoning - Black Pepper
6 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast Chicken - Breast, cut into strips
1 cup Butter
2 heads Garlic, diced
1 Limes, halved
to taste Seasoning - Lemon Pepper

Instructions

1. Mix flour, salt and pepper together in a resealable plastic bag. Add chicken, seal bag and shake to coat. Set aside.

2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and saute 3 to 4 minutes, until it starts to change color. Saute coated chicken strips with butter and garlic for 10 to 15 minutes, until cooked through and juices run clear.

3. Squeeze lime over chicken and sprinkle with lemon pepper. Serve hot.

The taste was pretty good but the recipe took too much effort to make it worth trying again.

Very easy to make! My only problem was all of the chicken didn't fit in the pan so I had to do 2 separate batches and had to add more butter so it didn't burn. My husband and I loved it!

Very easy and quick! I am a big fan of garlic so this was perfect.

I really enjoyed this recipe, though I added a few twists. Instead of 1cup four, I substituted 1/2 cup whole wheat flower and 1/2 cup Italian Breading. I used about 3 tablespoons of butter and a few swigs of olive oil to cook the garlic and chicken. I put lime juice on the chicken as it cooked and after I put it on the plate. I also crushed a cup of cashews and sprinkled it generously on top of the chicken on the plate. I served it on a bed of corn, chickpeas, and diced onions that I stirfried in butter, olive oil with garlic, salt and pepper. It was delicious and a new family favorite!
