Pasta with Puttanesca Sauce

Ingredients
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
3 grinds Seasoning - Black Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Seasoning - Red Pepper Flakes
1 lb Pasta - Spaghetti
1/4 cup Parsley, chopped
4-6 cloves Garlic, chopped
20 Coursely Chopped Olives - Black
3 Tablespoons Capers
1 14.5oz Can Tomatoes - Canned (Diced)
1 32 oz can Tomatoes - Canned (crushed)

Cooking Directions


1. Cook 1 pound of pasta (spaghetti or linguine works best) according to package instructions.

For the Puttanesca Sauce:

2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil, garlic, and crushed red pepper.

3. Saute mixture until garlic is tender, about 3 minutes.

4. Add olives, capers, crushed and diced tomatoes, black pepper, and parsley. Bring sauce to a bubble.

5. Reduce heat and simmer 8 to 10 minutes.

6. Toss sauce with cooked pasta.

My husband and I both liked this dish. Very easy and flavorful. We added grated Parmesan, but other than that left it the same. Very good!
