Penne Russo a la Vodka

Ingredients
1 teaspoon Olive Oil
to taste Seasoning - Salt
1/2 cup Vodka
1/2 teaspoon Seasoning - Red Pepper Flakes
1 cup Cheese - Parmesan
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1/2 Cup Basil
2 (16 oz) Whole Tomatoes - Canned (Peeled)
1 (16 oz) Package Pasta - Penne
1 Cup Heavy Cream
1/8 lbs (chopped) Prosciutto

Cooking Directions


Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.

Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Saute garlic, prosciutto and red pepper flakes for 1 minute. Stir in tomatoes, and cook for 3 minutes. Stir in vodka and cream. Simmer 15 minutes, or until thickened. Stir in Parmesan and chopped basil. Toss with pasta until evenly coated.
