Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Ingredients
2 Tablespoons Butter
4 chicken breast halves Chicken - Breast, skinless, boneless1
1 Onions, finely diced
2 (10.75 ounce) Cans Soup - Condensed Cream of Chicken
2 (10 ounce) package (torn into pieces) Biscuits - Refrigerated

Cooking Directions


1. Place the chicken, butter, soup, and onion in a slow cooker, and fill with enough water to cover.

2. Cover, and cook for 5 to 6 hours on High. About 30 minutes before serving, place the torn biscuit dough in the slow cooker. Cook until the dough is no longer raw in the center.

it was a really good recipe but next time I think I'll make my own dumplings or buy the already made frozen dumplings instead of using refrigerated biscuits. This recipe is Defiantly a keeper, it was really simple to make.

Delicious! I like to dip the dough in flour before putting it in the crock pot. It keeps the dough from all joining together during cooking.
