Easy to follow cooking directions and moist turkey burger patties will guarantee this will be a family favorite for years to come.

Ingredients
2 3/4 cups Flour - All Purpose
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 cup Butter, softened
1 1/2 cups Sugar - White
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Cooking Directions


1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.

2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets.

3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden. Let stand on cookie sheet two minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.

Great recipe. Used brown sugar instead of white. Make sure they're slightly underdone -- delicious and doughy with a crisp exterior!

These are the FIRST homemade cookies I've ever made...actually, the first homemade anything I've ever made. They turned out great and are disappearing quickly.

1.5 Cups Sugar-White => 0.5 Cups
0 Cups Sugar-Brown => 1 Cup
2.75 Cups Flour-All Purpose => 1 Cup
0 Cups Flour-Whole Wheat => 1.75 Cups

I did a budget version using margarine instead of butter, and they were fine, also rolled out dough and cut with cutters, sprinkled with icing sugar.
