I love this very simple to make recipe. I even make mine vegetarian using the Morning Star vegetarian ground round. My meat eating boyfriend gobbles it right up. Every time I make it I like to change it up and put my own flare on it using the basic recipe. My opinion, better without the cottage cheese.

This was our first time using this website. The family LOVED it. I didn't have chips so I fried my own tortilla chips out of corn tortillas. My youngest wants this to be his birthday dinner now.

This came out pretty good. Kinda not sure what the purpose of putting the chips as layers, since they got soggy. But over all, it was yummy, and my son, my biggest critic liked it!

Wow i am going to give the recipe a try because i love my starches. The cup of cottage cheese might hit the spot for a new twist.
