Traditional Green Bean Casserole

Servings 6 Prep Time 10 Minutes Cook Time 30 Minutes


to taste Seasoning - Black Pepper
4 cups Beans - Green, cooked, cut
1/2 Cup Milk
1 Teaspoon Soy Sauce
1 (10 3/4 oz) Can Soup - Condensed Cream of Chicken
1 1/3 Cups French Fried Onions


1. Preheat oven to 350 (F) degrees.

2. In a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, mix soup, milk, soy, black pepper, beans and 2/3 cup french fried onions.

3. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 (F) degrees.

4. Sprinkle with remaining french fried onions and bake for 5 additional minutes.

I do this for every holiday, but I add 1 TBS of Worcestershire sauce, and use 1/4 cup heavy cream and 1/4 cup milk. OH, and cream of anything works... I have used mushroom and celery with equal success.
