3 tablespoons Seasoning - Parsley
1 tsp or to taste Seasoning - Cayenne Pepper
1 tablespoon Corn Meal
2 tsps Yeast
1 cup - 1 1/4 cups Flour - Italian
2 cups Flour - Bread

Cooking Directions

You can do this all by hand with a large wooden spoon and mixing bowl but for this, I am using an electric stand mixer.

Using the paddle attachment of your mixer, Mix 1 1/4 cup of the Flour(s), the yeast and the salt Once mixed, add 2 Tablespoons of the olive oil and the 1 cup of warm water. It will look like soup. mix well and then remove the paddle attachment and attach the dough hook. Add as much of the flour as you can until there is a dough ball on your dough hook. Knead on medium for 2 minutes. Add the parsley and the garlic powder and knead for an additional 3-4 minutes until dough is smooth and not too sticky. Remove from bowl. use 1 tbsp of olive oil to coat the dough and let sit for 10 minutes. Oil the bottom of your pizza pan, sprinkle with cornmeal and press the dough into pan. cover and let sit for an additional 10 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 450.

you can start your sauce while the dough is sitting the first time. In a small bowl, mix the tomato sauce, dried basil, dried oregano, cayenne pepper, red chili flakes, black pepper and 1/2 cup of the parmesan cheese (saving 1/2 cup for topping). Let sauce sit for at least 15 minutes, and preferably 20 -30 minutes.

Top pizza dough with sauce, fresh basil and mozzarella. Sprinkle parmesan around the edges of crust and all over the top. Add any other toppings you like. Bake in 450 degree oven for 20 minutes or until cheese is golden.
